While we await the green light on the asbestos planning condition discharge, we decided to roll up our sleeves and start clearing out the barns that need their roofs removed. The barn at the far end of the plot houses the enormous chicken cages you see in the picture. We’ve been quite fortunate to have a scrap metal collector named Richard diligently working his way through dismantling these cages.
Despite the fact that the metal is rather thin and not likely to fetch a fortune, Richard has been toiling away, breaking them down and carting them off. His hard work is truly appreciated as it’s making a significant difference in our progress. If you’re in the area and happen to need a reliable scrap metal dealer, do let me know, and I’ll gladly pass on Richard’s number.
